Menominee Tribe Reacts to Out-of-State Opposition to the Kenosha casino
Craig Corn, Chairman of the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin said today:
“On Tuesday, November 5, a group of visitors will come to Madison from other parts of the nation to pressure Governor Walker into saying no to the Menominee Hard Rock Kenosha Casino. The out-of-state people will voice their opposition to Wisconsin creating 5,000 new direct and indirect jobs and generating at least $250 million in new revenue for the state in the first five years that the casino operates. Perhaps they’d rather see Illinois get the jobs and tourists at the expense of Wisconsin.
